Privacy notice.

How the agency handles personal data submitted through this website and its services.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver a service: contact details submitted with a ticket or an application, correspondence you send us, and standard technical information such as request logs used to keep the service secure.

Why we process it

Processing is carried out to perform the agency's statutory functions under Act 771 — assessing applications, administering the .gov.gh namespace, responding to incidents and answering enquiries.

How long we keep it

Records are retained in line with public records requirements. Application and licensing records are kept for the life of the certificate plus the statutory retention period; support correspondence is kept for two years.

Sharing

Information is shared with other public institutions only where necessary to deliver the service or where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may request access to your personal data, ask for corrections, or object to processing. Complaints about the handling of personal data may also be made to the Data Protection Commission.
